Our Suwanee 47 Commercial model is designed specifically to meet and exceed rigorous standards set by the United States Coast Guard for passenger-carrying  service and designed to comply with many of the standards published by the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC).

The Suwanee 47 Commercial model can be built in a variety of configurations. The open deck version is ideal for use as a daytime excursion vessel, fishing or dive boat, work platform, or cargo ferry.  Exceptionally stable, this model is designed for safety and reliability.  Twin diesel engines (configured either in V-drive, straight inboard or stern drive) give the Suwanee 47 Commercial impressive performance and complete dependability, with speeds up to 30 knots.

The Suwanee 47 Commercial model can also be built in full or partial cabin versions.  The full cabin version, with flying bridge, makes an excellent day or evening cruise vessel and can accommodate six adults and two crew members for a professionally catered dinner party.
